FEARLESS ALUMNI ARE THE BEST!

Kat was contacted on Tuesday by a brand-new Fearless Alum. When I say “brand-new” I mean she just was certified on Monday!

We have known our other two donors for almost a year. So, we do not know a back story about this donor, as we just met her less than a week ago. But I think one sentence from her email to Kat says it all.

“I just want to help others succeed.”

WOW, THAT’S POWERFUL!

She has gifted TWO (YES, I said “TWO”) CSM Workshop Registrations to our last CSM Workshop of 2021 on December 18 & 19 @8:57am EST!

We work on the honor system so between now and November 23 @11:59pm PST, we will take all the screen names from the social media comments on this post and put them into a hat. Like we said, we are adamant not to require anyone to PROVE they need it. Kat and I only ask TWO things of you:

Let me tell you another story…

In February of 2021 Kat got an email from a potential workshop participant. Here’s an excerpt.

(Clearly she has tons of real life experience on how to “Inspect and Adapt”!!)

“I produce, manage, and promote interactive live theatre and arts marketplaces nationally and have no real knowledge of the tech world. There are concerns that most of the information I have read from the website is tech related.This is not necessarily a field I think I want to be involved with as it is a foreign language to me.

I have always worked in more creative industries, being the person that translates the creative people to the non-creative world (being the Marilyn to the Munsters and the Radar to the MASH unit, if you will). My staff consists of over six hundred people and run non-traditionally. My team and I deal with the formalities of licensing and permits with the state and local governments, building stages and working with the health departments. It was suggested that I get a certification in Agile and/or Scrum by a few friends of mine that are project managers to make myself more marketable.

I have also always been a non-traditional student and they thought this would be a good fit for that reason.”
